1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using MyKasa ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes via the email associated with your account.
2. Description of Service
MyKasa is a budget planning tool. It helps you allocate income to accounts, calculate required transfers between accounts, and project debt paydown or savings growth over time. MyKasa does not connect to bank accounts, initiate financial transactions, or track actual account balances. The Service is informational and organisational in nature.
3. Not Financial Advice
MyKasa does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All calculations, projections, and transfer recommendations are based solely on the data you enter and are intended to help you organise your budget. They should not be treated as professional financial guidance. You are responsible for your own financial decisions and should consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
4. Accounts and Registration
You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if anything changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Free and Paid Plans
MyKasa offers a free tier with data stored locally on your device and paid subscription tiers with cloud sync and additional features. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis at the interval you select. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into MyKasa. On the free tier, your data is stored locally on your device and we do not have access to it. On paid tiers, your data is stored on our servers to enable cloud sync. We will not sell, share, or use your financial data for advertising purposes. You may export or delete your data at any time.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems, using the Service for unlawful purposes, interfering with other users' access to the Service, reverse-engineering or scraping the Service, or using automated tools to access the Service without permission.
8. Availability and Updates
We strive to keep MyKasa available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. For paid users, we will provide reasonable notice before removing functionality that materially impacts your subscription.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyKasa and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of the Service. Because MyKasa is a planning tool and does not execute financial transactions, we are not responsible for any financial outcomes resulting from decisions you make based on information displayed in the Service.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding associated with MyKasa are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. For paid users, we will honour the remainder of any pre-paid billing period.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MyKasa operates. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
