Refund Policy

The short version: MyKasa has a generous free tier so you can try before you buy. Paid subscriptions can be cancelled any time and we offer refunds within 14 days of a charge if you are not satisfied.

1. Free Tier

MyKasa offers a fully functional free plan with data stored locally on your device. The free tier has no time limit and does not require payment information. We encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate the Service before upgrading to a paid plan.

2. Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and provide additional features such as cloud sync, multi-device access, and household sharing. All prices are displayed at the time of purchase and include applicable taxes where required.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:

  • You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation
  • Your account reverts to the free tier at the end of the period
  • Your data remains accessible; cloud-synced data will be available for export for 30 days after downgrade

4. Refund Eligibility

We want you to be happy with MyKasa. If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, you may request a refund under the following conditions:

Eligible
  • Refund requested within 14 days of the charge
  • Accidental or duplicate purchases
  • Service was materially unavailable during the billing period
Not eligible
  • More than 14 days since the charge
  • Account terminated for violation of terms
  • Dissatisfaction with a feature that was clearly described before purchase

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us through our contact page with your account email and the reason for your request. We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take an additional 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

6. Annual Plan Refunds

If you purchased an annual plan and request a refund within 14 days, you will receive a full refund. After 14 days, annual plans are not eligible for partial refunds, but you may cancel to prevent future renewal and continue using the Service until the end of your annual period.

7. Price Changes

If we increase the price of your subscription plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. The new price takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel before the next billing date for a full refund of any charge at the new rate.
